Wheen Bee Foundation Ambassadors

The first group of 14 Bee Ambassadors successfully completed a 3 day training program in September. Ambassadors attended from Qld, NSW, Vic, Tasmania and Norfolk Island. Here is what they had to say after the inaugural program:

  • This is such a great amazing inspiring initiative!
  • Being exposed to the research activities that we are supporting is extremely important
  •  Just loved the whole experience of the 3 days. I have come back full of enthusiasm and new ideas that I can put to work
  • Evening sessions were inspirational
  • Loved the opportunity to meet other bee advocates and get to know what they’re all doing
  • A thoroughly professional and effective workshop. It was clear that the delegates enjoyed the program and benefited greatly from the activities and discussion.

To register your interest in participating in Ambassador training in 2019, please email with ‘Bee Ambassador Program EOI’ in the header. Ambassadors will be selected on their willingness and capacity to champion honey bee and pollinator projects in their regions, and their willingness to become part of a national network of Bee Ambassadors.
